Awaited Update

My Mom has been here for the past 16 days helping me with Simon. It has been so nice to have her here. In the morning after breakfast if Simon wouldn't fall asleep, Grandma would hold him while I took a shower! It was nice to have another person at home during the day to hold Simon, do the dishes, cook, etc. We'll see how it goes from here on out by myself.

We took Simon to get his picture taken at Sears on Friday. He was asleep for most of the pictures but luckily woke up at the end. I wasn't too impressed with the pictures they took but luckily there was one cute one of him awake. We should get the pictures back in 2 weeks.

Here are a few pictures from Simon's first sponge bath at home. He seems to really love bath time as long as the water is warm enough and he is kept warm during the process. He had his first bath in the sink on Friday and he loved being in the water! I think he's going to be a water lover.

We sure do love out little guy! Some days are better than others with sleep and keeping him calm but one look at him sleeping peacefully or into his beautiful eyes and it is all worth it.
